Does it work on scans?
Only if the PDF contains real text. Scanned images need OCR, which is not included.
Why is my extracted text empty?
The PDF is probably a scan made of images. Only PDFs with real text can be extracted.
Is it really free and private?
Yes. The tool runs entirely in your browser, so your files are never uploaded. A small optional tip (1€, plus 1€ per 100 processed pages) is only a suggestion.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After the first visit the tools are cached by your browser and keep working without an internet connection.
